Sarandë is a seaside base on the Albanian Riviera, opposite Corfu. Its bookable strengths are boat trips to small beaches and caves, plus road tours to Blue Eye, UNESCO-listed Butrint, Ksamil and Gjirokastër.

Are Blue Eye and Butrint in Sarandë?

No. Both are excursions outside the city. Typical tour itineraries allow about 30 minutes by van toward Blue Eye and around 20 minutes between Ksamil and Sarandë, but summer traffic can make road times longer.

Does Sarandë have an airport or train station?

No. Sarandë has a ferry port and road connections, but no airport and no railway station. Tirana airport is about 284 km away; arriving through Corfu still requires a ferry and border formalities.
